IMPORTANT CLINIC INFORMATION AND A MESSAGE FROM DR. BERMAN REGARDING PATIENT VISIT SCHEDULING
We have THREE different appointment types in order to safely take care of our patients. We are using telemedicine which involves an "office visit" using an smartphone or webcam and can be performed in your home. Please check with your insurance company to make sure they will cover a telemedicine visit. Any patient having any fever or respiratory symptoms will be scheduled a "car appointment" and one of us will see you and treat you in your car at the drop off point under the awning in front of my office. We are also seeing patients inside the office who are healthy and need physicals as well as follow ups or any other non COVID related conditions.
Please note that all visits, whether telemedicine, car appointments or in office visits will need a scheduled appointment with one of us.
Our office provides 24 hour/7 day phone coverage for our established patients who call our main office number (704-542-6111). If you need a provider after regular office hours, weekends or holidays, please call our office and ask to speak to the on-call provider. Your information (name, number and problem) will be taken by an attendant and the on-call provider will be notified. Your call should be returned within 30 minutes. Do not call the on call number for routine refills or general questions. It truly is for emergency use only. A charge will be applied if the call is deemed not an emergency.
